Granchester Lady in Red at Penellcy
Lucy, Granchester Lady in Red at Penellcy
Born 04/06/2001, Passed Away 01/05/2012
Sadly on May 1st we had to make the awful decision to have Lucy put to rest
She had heart disease which was causing her to be very ill and we felt it was for the best as we did not want to see her suffer
Lucy had no children to carry her on but she will always live on in our hearts and affix as her name makes up the last two letters of Penellcy
We loved this beautiful gentle girl very much and her loss has created a huge empty space in our hearts and our home.
Memories are Golden
They say memories are golden well, maybe thatís true.
I never wanted memories I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane,
Iíd walk the path to heaven and bring you home again.
Rest in peace my sweet girl xxxxx
Lucy was a re-home who came to live with us in July 2006 and she settled in strait away, though we did show her she preferred to stay at home safe and secure.
